H.H. KYABGON GONGMA TRICHEN IN OEGSTGEEST, HOLLAND

It is with great joy we are welcoming His Holiness Sakya Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche to Holland on the 30st of July. His Holiness will give a public teaching on the subjects TAKING REFUGE and the BODHISATTVA VOW.
His Holiness the Sakya Trichen is renowned throughout the world for the brilliance and clarity of his teachings and his fluency and precise command of English.
Receiving teachings directly from the Sakya Trichen carries a special lineage of blessings from the founders of the Sakya Tradition. He was a former teacher of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who has referred to him as “The King of yogis”.
His Holiness the Sakya Trichen is one of the few still living Tibetan masters who were brought up and trained traditionally in Tibet, before the cultural revolution. His Holiness is a member of Tibet‘s noble Khön family, which founded the Sakya School
in the eleventh and twelfth centuries, and he was the head of the Sakya tradition for over fifty years, until the throne holder duties were handed over to his successor.
