2021 summer retreat will be held both on site at our temple in Kuttolsheim (FR) and online. 

The practice of Shri Vajrapani Bhutadamara is the foremost practice for removing obstacles on the path of a practitioner.  

 

Who can join this retreat?

All who received the initiation of Shri Vajrapani Bhutadamara from a qualified master

OR have already received a major initiation (like Hevajra, Vajrayogini, Kalachakra) 

OR will take the Shri Vajrapani Bhutadamara initiation conferred by Khenpo Tashi Sangpo at the beginning of retreat on 31 July at 5 pm on-site only (no streaming!)

OR will take the Shri Vajrapani Bhutadamara initiation conferred by Khenpo Tashi Sangpo on 17 - 18 July at Thupten Changchup Ling, Arosio (CH) (no streaming!)

 

Contribution: € 70.- for the whole retreat onsite or on-line (this does not include food and lodgining).

Those who wish to participate on site are invited to register as soon as possible, becasue we have very limited places at the temple and most of the rooms will be offered as single rooms.

KhenpoTashi Sangpo Ampia was born in 1973 in Sakya, Tibet, where he also received his first training and education.

At the age of 10, he entered the main Sakya Monastery, Thubten Lhakhang Chenmo, and took up the novice-monk ordination. He studied at the monastery until 1994, when he escaped from Tibet to India. He found refuge in Dehra Dun, home to the Sakya Monastery in exile and His Holiness Sakya Trizin. He enrolled to the Sakya College, a Monastic University where he studied and deepened his understanding of various aspects of the Buddhist practice and philosophy. He completed his studies in the year 2000, and was awarded ‘Kachu-pa’ and ‘Loppön’ degrees.

In May 2000, he moved to Switzerland to take care of the Thupten Changchup Ling centre in Arosio as its resident monk. He has been in charge of the temple, and has lead daily rituals and meditation sessions.
In 2008, he returned to India to take the Bikshu vows, i.e. the vows of a fully ordained monk. More...
